Dear Parents,

Welcome to Vaughn Road Elementary School for the 2007-2008 School Year! We truly want to make education an enjoyable experience for every child and every parent, guardian, and family member. My faculty and I have been working hard all summer in workshops designed to teach each child so that he or she will continue to progress. We set high expectations for not only ourselves, but also every child on our campus.

We are implementing several new ideas this year in an effort to benefit you and your children. We want you to be informed. This summer, I have met with parents, teachers, community leaders, and students in an effort to gather input from everyone on how to best serve our students.

I look forward to working with you this year. I hope that each of you will glean many meaningful moments from this school year, moments that will guide you toward future successes as a member of our TEAM, because Together Each Achieves More, and YOU are a critical part of the team!
