  Established in 1964, under the original name of Atlanta Highway School, Thomas L. Head  has long held a tradition of pride, enthusiasm, and sensitivity in pursuing the daily objective of "reaching and teaching every child." Named after a distinguished former Montgomery Public Schools Assistant Superintendent, Head Elementary is committed to continuing this tradition of excellence.
