Dear Parents/Guardians:

                   IMPORTANT REMINDERS: Breakfast is served from 7:25 to 7:45 a.m. Only bus students are permitted to eat late. Students are not to arrive at school before 7:30 unless they are going to the lunchroom for breakfast. There is no supervision for students who are dropped off early for other reasons. Remember, Goodtimes is available on site. Please check with the Bell Road YMCA for additional information concerning this program.

 The Halcyon family and I would like to welcome all new families to the 2009-2010 school year.  We are eager for you to become involved.  Halcyon is a great neighborhood school.  I hope you are able to find all the things you need on our website.

Our Mission is to provide a safe school and a positive environment for all students' academic success.  We are committed to preparing your child to meet the challenges of the future, and we recognize the importance of the partnership between home and school.  Communication among teachers, children, and parents, is so important.  We request that you continue to support the school and monitor your child's progress throughout the school year.  We hope this will be the best year ever for our children.
